TDF is working with schools to develop a collaborative network that would facilitate research development, overseen by an advisory board. TDF and the schools are developing a database and working to solicit data for the database.

This network would have practical and far reaching impact: • Private schools for students with dyslexia and other learning differences would have a clear understanding of evidence-based practices revealing which intervention works for which student under what conditions, using data pooled from many schools. • A strong partnership between schools and researchers would be forged and sustained. • This effort can produce a science of performance to support services for students with disabilities in both the private and public sectors.
